YUGPURUSH - THE PLAY has enjoyed tremendous success all over India, Canada, UK & USA captivating audiences with more than 800 sellout shows in 275 days. Audiences from diverse backgrounds, ages, and communities have acclaimed this drama. The play is now coming to Hong Kong.
YUGPURUSH – THE PLAY
Leaders are not born - they are created. They experience setbacks and hardships like us. Their stories of personal struggles and inner triumphs inspire us. One such story is that of Mahatma Gandhi and his spiritual mentor, Shrimad Rajchandraji. Their story offers new paradigms to global peace and human progress. YUGPURUSH – MAHATMA KE MAHATMA is a historic and dramatic theatrical masterpiece that offers a distinct insight of this story.
This multi-award winning play is a two-hour heart-touching portrayal depicting the special bond between Shrimad Rajchandraji and Mahatma Gandhi that catapulted him from ‘Mohandas’ to ‘Mahatma’ and laid down the foundations for India’s independence. What began as an honest friendship progressed to Gandhiji proclaiming Shrimadji as his spiritual mentor.

THE FUNDRAISING CAUSE
In addition to helping spread this deep message, the play is wholly supporting a noble cause too. All proceeds obtained from YUGPURUSH will be used to construct a new 200-bed multi-speciality charity hospital in South Gujarat. SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA HOSPITAL will greatly benefit the rural and tribal populations of the Valsad district, ranked amongst the poorest in the state, who are grappling with issues such as poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, and lack of basic health-related awareness, leading to a myriad of health concerns. THE HONG KONG TOUR
YUGPURUSH will tour Hong Kong with 2 shows in November 2017 to be performed in Hindi. As an entirely charitable endeavour organized by SRMD (Hong Kong), all net proceeds will support the fundraising cause.
We are co-organizing the show on Tuesday 21st November 2017. Details are as follows:

Transportation: Buses will be arranged from TST, Hunghom, Central/Admiralty.
Parking: Public parking is available close to the venue.
Ticket prices: HKD150 (upper stall) and HKD250 (lower stall). Seating plan attached.
Ticket booking and collection: We have a limited number of tickets (150 in total). These will be available on first come first serve basis.
